Applications Sought for Kingdom Seneschal

Greetings once more to the Tyger Populace,

The days are growing shorter, much as my tenure in the role of Kingdom Seneschal does. As a result, I am seeking applications for the successor to this office.

The expected timeline is as follows:
~ Applications Accepted through December 24, 2023
~ Short round of interviews of potential candidates with myself as well as the Royals
~ Decision made by January 18, 2023
~ Training to follow with anticipated step up in mid-end March 2024

I will remain with the new Kingdom Seneschal, ensuring successful transition and ease of entry. There will also be a crew of former Kingdom Seneschals in the wings to provide support and guidance.

Help Wanted, Inquire Within!

Greetings to the Tyger Populace,

As the end of the year nears, the Office of the Kingdom Seneschal seeks to find new faces to fill some roles!

First, a massive thank you to the outgoing Regional Deputies, Godfroy de Falaise and Fearghus mac Caillin have been instrumental in managing their regions and assisting the Kingdom Seneschal. Both deserve an amazing rest. In addition, as mentions previously, Thomas of Effingham has slide over into the Deputy Kingdom Seneschal role to assist me with keeping Kingdom-level items in motion.

In order to apply for any of the listed roles, you must have an East Kingdom Email address and use it for your application. The form will not allow you to complete it otherwise. Help Wanted: Kingdom DEI Officer

To the populace of the East Kingdom and to all whom these present letters may come, greetings: 

We are seeking applicants for the important job of Kingdom Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Officer:

The Kingdom Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Officer:

a. Is responsible for recognizing, creating, and implementing plans to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the East Kingdom. This role is open to those with lived experience as well as allies.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering education to the populace covering all aspects of  Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and Belonging: Race, Ethnicity, Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, Ability, Religion, Age, and Veteran status , etc.
  2. Identifying and implementing projects to increase diversity, equity, Inclusion and Belonging in the kingdom.
  3. Partner with SCA DEIB office to roll out society-wide DEIB initiatives.
  4. Providing recommendations to the Crown and Kingdom for DEIB issues that may affect the East’s members or event sites.

b. Works with the Kingdom Chatelaine in their areas of mutual interest.

c. Is responsible to the Kingdom Seneschal.

d. Experience in  DEI, HR, Program/ Project Management, Adult Learning, and/or Training and Facilitation a plus.

This person will help continue the groundwork that has been done, to ensure DEIB resources are included at all levels of the Kingdom.  If this is something you are passionate about please consider applying.
